Claim your invoice easily and quickly

Did you pay a healthcare provider's invoice yourself? Then it's nice if you can get that amount back quickly. Claim safely and quickly in the VGZ app. The reimbursement will be in your account within 4 working days.
Check the details on your invoice

We'll quickly get to work on your claim. As we like to get it right straight off the bat, we need these details from you:

  • name, address and date of birth of the insured
  • type of treatment including A performance code is a short description of your treatment. You can find it on the invoice.
  • the amount per treatment
  • the date of treatment
  • name and address of healthcare provider and practice
  • invoice number
  • invoice date

Claiming travel expenses

Do you want to declare your travel costs for seated patient transport? Then you need permission from us in advance.

Healthcare costs abroad

Do you need emergency treatment while abroad? Always call the VGZ emergency control centre on +31 40 297 55 50. Do you want to submit a foreign invoice? Check in advance whether you have all the information for the claim. You will receive a response within 10 working days.

Claiming by mail

Of course, you can also claim by mail. It'll then take up to 10 working days for the reimbursement to reach your account. Please send the original invoice to:

Claiming for someone not on your policy

Are you helping an insured who is not on your policy with claiming? You can claim the invoice by mail.

Claim a Personal Budget (PGB)

Do you have a Personal Budget for nursing care and/or other care? You can claim the incurred expenses in retrospect.
