Did you welcome a new member to your family? Are you switching jobs? Or do you have a new email address? These are important changes that we’d like to know about.

My personal situation has changed

I had a baby

Congratulations, that’s wonderful news. Please make sure to register your baby within 4 months. If you do so, your child will be co-insured on your healthcare policy free of charge, until they turn 18 years old.

A family member has passed away

Our condolences, we’re so sorry to hear that. If you notify the municipality of the death of your family member, we’ll automatically set the right things in motion.

We are getting divorced or separated

First of all, we wish you a lot of strength during this period. And do you both wish you own policy? That’s no problem.

I'm turning 18

Congratulations!

Happy birthday, that’s a big milestone! Once you turn 18, you’re allowed to sign up for your own health insurance.

My work situation is changing

Did you get a new job and would you like to switch to your new employer’s health insurance? Or are you retiring? Check the collective health insurance page or let us know about your changes.

I am moving

That’s easy: you don’t have to do a thing! We’ll automatically receive your new address from the municipality.

Are you moving abroad? That's something you do have to let us know about yourself.

My contact information has changed

Change of address, last name of gender

Has your address, last name or gender changed? We’ll be informed of these changes by your municipality. Are you moving abroad? That’s something you do need to let us know yourself.

Change of contact information

Do you have a new email address or phone number? Please let us know so we'll be able to contact you.

My payment information has changed

Change of bank account number

Did you change your bank account number? Please let us know your new bank account number right away. More information on changing bank account numbers.

Change of payment method

Pay your premium and other healthcare costs however you want. You can view all our payment options right here.

Apply for a payment plan

Did you receive an invoice from us that you’d rather pay in installments? No problem. You can find a payment plan option in the VGZ app. Simply go to ‘Outstanding invoice(s)’.

Pay your excess in installments

You can pay your mandatory excess of € 385 in installments. Apply for this payment plan in the VGZ app by clicking on your excess and selecting the option ‘Pay excess in installments’. You can do so between the 12th of November and 31st of January. 

I'd like to change my health insurance

Change your insurance

You can make changes to your insurance package between the 12th of November and 31st of January. Some changes can be made throughout the year. For example if you’ve changed jobs, or if your child turns 18. 

Change your excess

You can increase your excess up to an amount of € 885 per year. You can change your excess between the 12th of November and 31st of January.

Add a family member

Would you like to add your partner or child to your insurance policy? You can easily change this yourself.

Change your collective insurance

Would you like to choose or change your collective insurance? Please make sure you do so within the first 30 days of registering with us.

Cancel your insurance

We’re sorry to see you go. But we promise to make it easy for you.
