VGZ Zorg app in English

When you download the VGZ Zorg app, it is automatically set to Dutch. But you can easily change the language:

  1. Select ‘meer’ in the menu at the bottom
  2. Click on your name
  3. Scroll down and select ‘wijzigen’ next to taal/language
  4. You can change the language in English

How to install the app and set the language to English

Step 1:
Download the app for Apple or Android

Step 2:
Open the app and log in with your DigiD

Step 3:
Devise your own PIN code

Step 4:
From now on you will open the app with your PIN code

Step 5:
Go to ‘meer’ (more), click your name and change the language to English at the bottom of the menu

  • I get the message ‘There is a problem retrieving the policy’; why?

    Have you just transferred to us?
    Then you can use the Zorg app from the commencement date of your insurance.

    Are you no longer insured with VGZ?
    Unfortunately, you will no longer be able to log into the Zorg app. For all your care-related matters, you can still log into your ‘My Environment’ for up to 3 years after termination of your insurance.

    You are currently insured but you still see this notification?
    If so, it may be taking too long for the Zorg App to retrieve your policy details from the server. The best would be to try again at another time. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

  • Can I use the app as a co-insured?
    Yes, you can also use the app as a co-insured.
  • Can I also view the deductible of my co-insured?
    Yes, if you are the policyholder you can also view the deductible of your co-insured parties. You are not the policyholder? Then you can only view your own deductible.
  • Can I see the status of my claim in the app?
    No, it’s not visible in the app. You can, however, see the photo of your invoice in the app’s claims listing. Six working days after receipt of your claim, you can view its status in My VGZ.
  • For which operating systems is the VGZ Zorg app available?
    The VGZ Zorg app is available for iOS and Android.
  • Can I use the app if my insurance has not yet begun, or if I am no longer insured with VGZ?

    You can log into the app if you currently have insurance with VGZ. Is your insurance due to start later this year or next year? Then you can use the app from the commencement date of your insurance.

    Are you no longer insured with VGZ? Then unfortunately you will no longer be able to log into the app. For all your care-related matters, you can still log into your ‘My Environment’ for up to 3 years after termination of your insurance.

  • I get a security warning when I install the app. What should I do?

    DigiD has upgraded and renewed its security certificates. Some operating systems, such as Android 5, have not received security updates from Google for the past year. That means Android 5 does not recognise and trust certain (new) certificates. For example from DigiD. That’s why you receive a security notification.

    Install a new Android version
    Try installing a new Android version higher than Android 5. Can’t do that? Then unfortunately you will not be able to use the app on your phone.
